Amazon.co.uk shipped this yesterday and I was pleased to see the said SACD sitting on my door mat this evening. Its been a good few weeks for SACD, I've bought in the last few weeks: Feeder Comfort in Sound Hybrid M/C Art of Noice 'daft' M/C Moloko Statues Hybrid M/C Paul Van Dyk Reflections M/C All brilliant discs, well anyway back to 101 Live, now I've just put it on and my copy just skips through tracks 3,4 and 5 on side A. Has anybody else had this problem or is it just me?
FWIW the tracks that play fine are cracking, you won't here DM sound any better! Originally posted by Johnbones Where did you get the PvD from? That's definitely one I'd be after I'm really into the Feeder album and have not listended to the depeche mode fully yet so will give that a blast once I finish editing (stuffing up) my mates gig. Tia Reflections SACD was a bit of problem, the only site that I could find that stock is Amazon.de, with no english text:( Found it on PVD website for sale 17 Euro plus P&P Direct link:) Arrived in 2 days!!!! I only found out about this DVD from the best SACD site I have found so far, what it lacks in style it more than makes up for in content:luv: http://www.sa-cd.net/home.
Jan 25, 2008. Sound music acquisition is 101, the live album by Depeche Mode. A remastered SACD stereo mix and a 5.1 remastered SACD mix.
I have all the ZTT stuff on SACD:) Reconstructed is nice, if you don't like Paul Morley keep clear of this title, he narrates through most of it. The acoustics on 'Daft' are sweet, no naration but contains some weak mixes IMHO. If you don't have the Propaganda SACD, its very nice, have an old CD version of this album and the SACD is great. Duel is one of my tracks of the 80's so to be able to play it on 5.1 SACD is a joy! Although I do think £20 is a bit steep for an SACD, I think ZTT should be shown support.for there support of SACD Keep up the good work T.Horn Esq.

Notes: This was the first Depeche Mode UK album to have a specially pressed promotional advance CD. It was sent to press two months before the original CD was released. Also of note are the more unique (and hard to find) UK formats, like MiniDisc and DCC (Digital Compact Cassette).
A UK promotional box set was also made for this album, back in 1993. The box contained the 'Songs Of Faith And Devotion', 'Songs Of Faith And Devotion Live', 'The Singles 81-85' and 'Depro1CD'. Depro1CD was a promotional compilation of Depeche Mode singles from 1986 to 1993. The disc had no artwork, and was a numbered limited edition. After the track 'Get Right With Me', there is a small interlude.
It has no official title. It is a snippet of one of the Brian Eno remixes of 'I Feel You'. This was the first Depeche Mode album not originally released on vinyl in the United States.
In 2006, the album was completely remastered, and released in two different formats (SACD + DVD, and LP in Europe, CD + DVD, and LP in North America). The SACD + DVD version featured the album in a remastered 5.1 surround sound presentation, on the SACD disc. The CD + DVD version featured the album in a remastered 5.1 surround sound presentation on the DVD disc. The CD and LP were remastered stereo audio.
The US edition of the remastered CD was not a SACD. Only the European release was in SACD format. The US DVD is a standard DVD, not a specific DVD-Audio disc. Select an album by clicking on an album cover below.
